Category B - Cars
The minimum age is 18 years, and you can enroll during the 6 prior months .

– Identification Document (Residence Permit or CPLP Declaration).
– Medical Certificate;

What you are allowed to drive:

Light vehicles that can be towed by a trailer with a maximum authorized mass not exceeding 750Kg or, if it exceeds this, as long as the maximum mass of the combination formed does not exceed 3500Kg.
Holders of a category B driver's license who are over 21 years old and have at least 3 years of experience in the same category can drive vehicles with a maximum authorized mass exceeding 3500Kg but not exceeding 4250Kg.

Still allowed to drive:

Motor tricycles with a power output greater than 15KW, if the holder is over 21 years old;

Category A1 vehicles, if the holder is over 25 years old, and if not, they hold a category AM or moped driving license;

Category AM and B1 vehicles.
